Here are a list of characters that appear in Callin’ Baton Rouge.
U.S.S. Baton Rouge crewmen Edit
Commander Gart Broox, Ph.D., Starfleet Edit
Main article: Gart Broox (Callin’ Baton Rouge)
Commander Rriorr, Starfleet Edit
A former tactical and intelligence officer with over 20 years in Starfleet, Lieutenant Commander Rriorr was Commander Broox’s first choice for Executive Officer of the Baton Rouge, which came with a promotion to Commander. Prior to the Baton Rouge, Rriorr served with Commander Broox on the U.S.S. San Francisco as its primary Beta-shift Watch Commander.
Commander Rriorr is a Caitian, whose jet-black fur and golden eyes make him a very attractive member of his species. During his time as an intelligence operative, Rriorr made use of his good looks and charm as a seducer. He is a crack shot and trained martial artist. Like most members of Starfleet, Rriorr carries a Type-2 phaser as his standard sidearm.
Lieutenant Commander Dafir, Starfleet Edit
The Baton Rouge's Second Officer, Lt. Cmdr. Dafir also serves as Chief of Operations. She is the hub of all shipboard operations – everything flows through her. It is said that she is the hardest-working crewman on the ship, which is a role she relishes.
Lt. Cmdr. Dafir is highly intelligent, even for a Gallamite; in her youth, she was picked on for the size of her brain and her social isolation was made worse once puberty hit and she became a very attractive woman. To this day, Dafir struggles with self-confidence issues.
Lieutenant Tal-Azda, Starfleet Edit
The ship’s primary flight controller, Grazerite Lt. Tal-Azda controls the helm for Alpha Shift. In addition, he is responsible for overseeing the other flight control personnel, including the navigators and shuttle pilots.
While off-duty, Tal-Azda is the founder and leader of the ship’s band, who often perform monthly concerts for the crew.
Lieutenant Courtney Mouzes, Starfleet Edit
Although not a part of the senior staff on the Baton Rouge, Lt. Courtney Mouzes is one of Cmdr. Broox’s most trusted officers. As ship’s navigator, she is responsible for knowing where the ship is at all times; she provides the Captain with their current location, the estimated time of arrival to their destination, and ensures hazards are avoided. She also frequently serves as an officer of the watch, taking command of the Baton Rouge while members of the senior staff are otherwise occupied.
Lt. Mouzes is a short, willowy redhead from California who has a lot of admirers among the Baton Rouge’s crew. Her mother is Reba Mouzes, a famous Federation musician. She herself is an able singer (although nowhere near as good as her mom), and occasionally participates in the ship’s band.
Lieutenant Jeremy Collins, Starfleet Edit
A native of the planet Izar, Lt. Jeremy Collins serves as the Chief Engineer of the U.S.S. Baton Rouge. Prior to the Baton Rouge, Lt. Collins had served on four other ships in various engineering capacities. The Baton Rouge is his first tour of duty as Chief Engineer.
During a freak accident, the bridge crew of the Baton Rouge was temporarily incapacitated, which led to Lt. Collins taking command of the ship from auxiliary control in Main Engineering. He retained command for two hours and forty seven minutes, during which time he was able to get the ship back to Starbase Proxima. For his actions during the crisis, Cmdr. Broox nominated Lt. Collins for the Starfleet Commendation Medal.
Lieutenant Tomoran, Starfleet Edit
A Rigelian Chelon, Lt. Tomoran serves as the Chief Tactical Officer and Chief of Security on board the U.S.S. Baton Rouge. Standing two meters tall (approx. 6’ 6”), Tomoran is one of the tallest people on the ship. Prior to starship duty, Tomoran served multiple tours at Federation Embassies across the quadrant as a security officer and bodyguard.
Like most security officers (especially the ones trained as bodyguards), Lt. Tomoran is overprotective of the the ship, its crew, and especially its Captain. For the most part, Cmdr. Broox is tolerant of his security chief’s caution, although occasionally he will assert Captain’s Prerogative and take place in such dangerous missions (although never without Tomoran or one of his security detail by his side).
Lieutenant Murdok, Starfleet Edit
Lt. Murdok is the ship’s Chief Science Officer who specializes in environmental science, but has enough general knowledge of biology, chemistry, physics . Unlike the rest of the department heads on the Baton Rouge, Lt. Murdok doesn't have much experience as a supervisor – his previous post was Environmental Control Officer on a Starfleet science vessel. Therefore, he takes every opportunity he can to observe and learn from his fellow officers on the Baton Rouge.
Lieutenant (Dr.) Maegyn Manx, M.D., Starfleet Edit
A member of the matriarchal Cygnian species, Lt. (Dr.) Maegyn Manx is an excellent physician. However, despite her proven medical skills, she has served on six different ships in her seven years in Starfleet and has yet to receive a promotion due to her personality clashes with her superior officers (many of whom are male).
Since coming aboard the Baton Rouge, Dr. Manx has gotten along reasonably well with the crew – largely due to Commander Broox’s respectful attitude toward her and her own burgeoning respect for him. She has even grown to not just tolerate, but rely on her male Senior Enlisted Advisor, HMC Hosc.
Lieutenant (Nurse) Michelle Callahan (née Black), RN, Starfleet Edit
The Head Nurse on the U.S.S. Baton Rouge who also serves as the Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Lt. Michelle Callahan completed nursing school at Bacco University on her homeworld Cestus III and enlisted in Starfleet after the Borg Invasion of 2381. Some members of the crew prefer going to her rather than Dr. Manx due to their discomfort with the CMO.
Immediately prior to joining the Baton Rouge, newlywed Lt. Callahan was on maternity leave following the birth of her first child (a honeymoon baby). When not on the ship, she resides with her family on Proxima colony.
Lieutenant, junior grade Charr, Starfleet Edit
One of the helmsmen assigned to the Baton Rouge, Bolian Lt. (j.g.) Charr pilots the ship during Beta shift, and serves as a shuttle pilot when necessary. Lt. (j.g.) Charr loves to fly – which is one of the reasons he became a flight controller – and volunteers for helm duty as much as possible, as well as any and every away mission that requires a shuttle pilot.
Lieutenant, junior grade Sylix, Starfleet Edit
The Baton Rouge’s Saurian Communications Officer, Lt. (j.g.) Sylix is responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing transmissions, whether they be visual, audio or text communications.
Lieutenant, junior grade Antholis “Tholis” ch’Revram, Starfleet Edit
Andorian Lt. (j.g.) Antholis ch'Revram, known to his friends and fellow crewmembers as Tholis, is the Assistant Chief Engineer of the Baton Rouge.

Lieutenant, junior grade Victoria “Vic” Monroe, Starfleet Edit
Lt. (j.g.) Victoria Monroe is one of the junior engineering officers on the Baton Rouge.
Lieutenant, junior grade Greshnar, Starfleet Edit
A Tellarite, Lt. (j.g.) Greshnar serves as Lt. Tomoran’s deputy, often manning the bridge’s tactical station while Tomoran is on an away mission or vice versa. Although a highly-trained security officer, Lt. (j.g.) Greshnar’s most potent weapon is his voice – he is able to argue, berate, and bellow his way out of many situations without resorting to violence.
In addition, Lt. (j.g.) Greshnar is the team leader of one of the Baton Rouge’s five security teams. His team consists of himself, SS1 Angelo Vasquez, SS2 Goneff, SS2 , SS3 , and SS3 .
Lieutenant, junior grade Krie’vik, Starfleet Edit
A Betelgeusian, Lt. (j.g.) Krie’vik is the team leader of one of the Baton Rouge’s five security teams. She also serves as the bridge tactical officer during Beta shift.
Lieutenant, junior grade (Chirugeon) Tivra zh’Vrees, M.D., Starfleet Edit
A graduate of the Andorian School of Medicine and Starfleet Officer Candidate School, Chirugeon Tivra zh’Vrees is one of Dr. Maegyn Manx’s two junior medical officers.
Like many Andorians her age, Chirugeon zh’Vrees is a member of a shelthreth party, but had trouble conceiving a child.
Lieutenant, junior grade (Dr.) Kayla Sherman, D.D.S., Starfleet Edit
Fresh out of Starfleet Medical Academy, Dr. Kayla Sherman is the Baton Rouge’s dentist.
Although her specialty is dentistry, Dr. Sherman is a fully-qualified Starfleet medical officer and serves as the physician on-call during Beta shift.
Lieutenant, junior grade (Nurse) Tamara Hughes, RN, Starfleet Edit
One of the three nurses on the Baton Rouge
Lieutenant, junior grade (Counselor) Goldra, M.A., Starfleet Edit
The Baton Rouge’s counselor, the Ithenite Lt. (j.g.) Goldra earned her master’s degree in xenopsychology before attending Starfleet Officer Candidate School.
Lieutenant, junior grade Taylor Benson, Starfleet Edit
One of the ship’s most valuable officers, Lt. (j.g.) Taylor Benson is the Logistics and Supply Officer of the Baton Rouge. She and her staff of enlisted personnel are responsible for everything on the ship from the food to the money to the crew’s personnel files. While off-duty, Lt. (j.g.) Benson is a prominent member of the ship’s band, often singing during the ship’s concerts. She is also currently learning how to play various instruments from other band members.
Lt. (j.g.) Benson is That Girl – beautiful, intelligent, personable, confidant, and successful at anything she sets her mind to. She tries hard to see the good in everybody and believes wholeheartedly in the Federation and everything it stands for…and cannot understand why not everybody wants the same thing.
Ensign Ni-Dreii, Starfleet Edit
One of the helmsmen assigned to the Baton Rouge, Efrosian Ensign Ni-Dreii pilots the ship during Gamma shift.
Ensign Brodine, Starfleet Edit
One of the helmsmen assigned to the Baton Rouge, Boslic Ensign Brodine serves as an alternate pilot when Lt. Tal-Azda, Lt. (j.g.) Charr, or Ens. Ni-Dreii is unavailable. The Baton Rouge is Ens. Brodine’s first assignment following her graduation from Starfleet Academy.
Ensign Daniel “Dan” Newton, Starfleet Edit
The Baton Rouge’s junior operations officer, Ensign Dan Newton just barely graduated from Starfleet Academy, ranking last in his class. Despite his academic struggles, he refused to quit, and his dedication and perseverance enabled him to complete his training. Having been assigned to the Baton Rouge nominally as an operations officer, Ens. Newton is what is referred to as a “floater” – he works in different departments in various capacities depending on the needs of the day.
Ensign Sykel, Starfleet Edit
One of the junior engineering officers assigned to the Baton Rouge, Ensign Sykel serves in Main Engineering during Beta shift.
Ensign D5 Green, Starfleet Edit
One of the junior engineering officers assigned to the Baton Rouge, Ensign D5 Green is one of the two Nasat personnel onboard (along with HT2 Z9 Brown), and is currently on duty in Main Engineering during Gamma shift.
Ensign Allison McDonald, Starfleet Edit
One of the junior engineering officers assigned to the Baton Rouge

Ensign Yoshi Matsumura, Starfleet Edit
Born in Kyoto, Ensign Yoshi Matsumura (Japanese: 松村 ヨッシー) is the team leader of one of the Baton Rouge’s five security teams.
Ensign Skorr, Starfleet Edit
Fresh out of the Academy, Ensign Skorr is the Baton Rouge’s Sensor Officer. In this capacity, Skorr is responsible for maintaining and utilizing the ship’s sensors, analyzing the data, and presenting it to the necessary parties. He is assisted in his duties by two enlisted Sensor Analysts.
Young and arrogant, Ens. Skorr believes he would make a better Chief Science Officer than Lt. Murdok, who’s inexperience portrays him as meek and timid. Like all of the other Vulcans onboard the Baton Rouge, he is mentored by Salix, the centenarian COB, but the COB has taken a particular interest in the young Vulcan officer.
Ens. Skorr has yet to undergo his first Pon farr.
Ensign Bludel, Starfleet Edit
A young Ullian, Ensign Bludel serves as the Baton Rouge’s historian. She is a powerful telepath, and is also considered one of the more beautiful women on the ship.
Ensign (Nurse) Janice Carter, RN, Starfleet Edit
One of the three nurses on the Baton Rouge
Command Master Chief Petty Officer Salix, Starfleet Edit
The Senior Enlisted Advisor to Commander Broox, Command Master Chief Salix (called COB, or Chief of the Boat, by the crew) is one of the most indispensable members of the Baton Rouge. Laconic even for a Vulcan, the 100-something-year-old COB is a career Starfleet non-commissioned officer who is highly respected by every officer and crew member on the ship; when he speaks, everybody listens to what he has to say.
Although he is considered a mentor to most everybody on the ship (officers and enlisted alike), the COB takes a special interest in the Vulcan crewmen, particularly Sensor Officer Skorr.
The COB is usually on duty during Alpha shift, but will occasionally work during Beta or Gamma shifts when there is a new officer of the watch who might need some guidance from a member of the senior staff.
Although there are numerous Vulcans serving onboard the Baton Rouge, the COB is the only one to have completed Kolinahr, the complete mastery of his emotions. This has enabled him to learn how to use telekinesis.
Before his promotion, CMC Salix served on the staff of V-Adm. Vex No Bron, the Commanding Admiral of the 1st Fleet, with whom he remains friends with. He is married, with three grown children; his wife moved with him to Proxima colony when he was first attached to the 1st Fleet. Like most members of Starfleet, CMC Salix carries a Type-2 phaser as his standard sidearm.
Master Chief Engineer’s Mate Michael “Mike” Taylor, Starfleet Edit
Lt. Collins’s Senior Enlisted Advisor, Master Chief Mike Taylor supervises all of the enlisted engineers. He is proficient in all of the ship’s engineering divisions, including propulsion, maintenance, and damage control.
After the COB, Master Chief Taylor is the highest-ranking enlisted man on the U.S.S. Baton Rouge. A few times a week, Master Chief Taylor takes a shift at the engineering station on the bridge, where he helps the junior engineering officers and crewmen learn the systems.
Master Chief Taylor lives with his wife in New Samarkand, Alpha Centauri III, and is a proud new grandfather.
Senior Chief Engineer’s Mate Shakir Zayid, Starfleet Edit
The Non-Commissioned Officer-in-Charge of the Baton Rouge’s warp engines, Senior Chief Shakir Zayid (Arabic: شاكر زايد) has spent thirteen years as a Starfleet enlisted engineer and another six as a civilian engineer. It is his job to teach the junior enlisted men and women how the warp engines work (and keep them working), while also mentoring the junior officers who are assigned to the Baton Rouge’s engine room.
ENCS Zayid was born and raised in Kabul. To his and his family’s shame, one of his ancestors was a member of the early 21st century terrorist group, al-Qaeda.
Senior Chief Engineer’s Mate Chim neg Prog, Starfleet Edit
The Non-Commissioned Officer-in-Charge of the Baton Rouge’s impulse engines, Senior Chief Chim neg Prog is an enlisted engineer with over twenty years in Starfleet. It is his job to teach the junior enlisted men and women how the impulse engines work (and keep them working), while also mentoring the junior officers who are assigned to the Baton Rouge’s engine room.
Senior Chief Master-at-Arms Telev sh’Rann, Starfleet Edit
Lt. Tomoran’s Senior Enlisted Advisor, Senior Chief Telev sh’Rann’s primary responsibility is the internal security of the ship and its personnel. She is a trained criminal investigator, having prior experience with the Starfleet Criminal Investigative Service, and is the NCO-in-Charge of the ship’s brig.
Chief Operations Specialist Ja Moroe, Starfleet Edit
One of the few Xepolites in Starfleet, Chief Ja Moroe is proficient with the Baton Rouge’s sensors, communications systems, and navigation equipment, and regularly assists the crewmen in those departments. He also takes shifts on the bridge when Lt. Cmdr. Dafir is unavailable.
Although his decision to enlist in Starfleet wasn’t very well received by his family and friends – after all, Xepolites were renowned for their neutrality – OSC Moroe remains in contact with a cousin whom has become something of a source for him. This has also led to Moroe being well-known on every ship or base he’s served on as the guy to go to when one wanted something hard to find…
He has, more than once, been investigated by SCIS and other Federation authorities for possession and distribution of contraband, but no charges have ever been filed against him and he remains a decorated Starfleet Chief Petty Officer.
Chief Transporter Technician Trope, Starfleet Edit
The Non-Commissioned Officer-in-Charge of the Baton Rouge’s three transporter rooms, Chief Trope is a gregarious enlisted engineer with almost twenty years in Starfleet. It is his job to teach the junior enlisted men and women how the transporters work (and keep them working), while also mentoring the Ensigns and Lieutenants, junior grade who are assigned to the Baton Rouge’s transporter room.
Chief Damage Controlman Silas Simekas, Starfleet Edit
A member of the reptillian Gnalish species, Chief Silas Simekas is the Non-Commissioned Officer-in-Charge of the Baton Rouge’s damage control teams. DCC Simekas earned his promotion to Chief Petty Officer during the Dominion War, during which time he became an expert at emergency damage control. After the War, he spent a number of years on the Starfleet Academy training vessel, U.S.S. Republic, as its Chief Damage Controlman. He was transferred to the Baton Rouge by V-Adm. Vex No Bron, the Commanding Admiral of the 1st Fleet, with whom DCC Simekas served under on the U.S.S. Archer.
Because being a Damage Controlman is one of the most difficult jobs in the Fleet, DCC Simekas has a reputation for being a hardass and perfectionist – because anything less endangers the ship and its crew. His attitude has resulted in more than one crewman transferring to another ship and even resigning from Starfleet altogether.
During the Dominion War, DCC Simekas was awarded the Christoper Pike Medal for Valor.
Chief Gunner’s Mate Thenar ch’Shan, Starfleet Edit
The Baton Rouge’s Weapons Specialist, Chief Thenar ch’Shan is the Non-Commissioned Officer-in-Charge of the ship’s armory.

Chief Security Specialist Bruce Harmon, Starfleet Edit
A 35-year veteran of Starfleet Security, Chief Bruce Harmon is a combat veteran and trained sniper. As a junior security specialist, he fought in the Federation-Carddassian War, and he served as a Chief against the Borg and the Dominion.
On the Baton Rouge, SCC Harmon is one of two Security Chiefs assigned to the ship’s security teams under Lt. Tomoran. Although he isn’t insubordinate, SCC Harmon does tend to take the initiative when mentoring junior officers.
Chief Security Specialist Andrew “Andy” Ellis, Starfleet Edit
One of the two Security Chiefs assigned to the Baton Rouge’s security teams under Lt. Tomoran
Chief Information Systems Technician Aleek-Awk, Starfleet Edit
The Baton Rouge’s primary computer specialist, Aurelian Chief Aleek-Awk and his team are responsible for keeping the ship’s computers up and running. ITC Aleek-Awk reports to the Chief Science Officer.
Chief Cultural Specialist (Dr.) T’Vol, Ph.D., Starfleet Edit
One of Starfleet’s leading enlisted sociologists, 120+-year-old Dr. T’Vol has served on a variety of ships, space stations, and flag officer’s staffs since the turn of the 24th century, including a yearlong rotation on the U.S.S. Enterprise (NCC-1701-C). She was recruited to the Baton Rouge by Commander Broox, whom she was briefly romantically involved with and has known since he was a young xenologist just starting his Starfleet career. She carries the rank of Chief Petty Officer, but is usually referred to by her crewmates as Doctor instead of Chief.
Dr. T’Vol is a graduate of the Vulcan Science Academy, where she studied history and sociology. and the London School of Economics and Political Science on Earth, where she earned Ph.D.s in Xenosociology, Social policy, and Social psychology. Upon the completion of her education at the age of 32, she decided to enlist in Starfleet.
Although she is as logical and emotionally controlled as the next Vulcan, Dr. T’Vol has immersed herself in many cultures, learning their languages, sampling their food, listening to their music, and even participating in their sexual/mating rituals. She is also proficient in mind-melds.
Dr. T’Vol wears her hair longer than many Vulcans (especially Vulcans in Starfleet); her brunette hair cascades down her back to approximately the middle of her spine. While on duty, she ties it off in an elegant, aesthetically-pleasing bun.
During her long career, Dr. T’Vol has been decorated numerous times, and is a recipient of the Starfleet Cross for Distinguished Service (she is one of the few enlisted personnel on active duty to be awarded this medal), Vulcanian Scientific Legion of Honor, Starfleet Legion of Honor, Prentares Ribbon of Commendation, Starfleet Commendation Medal with cluster, Starfleet Good Conduct Medal with cluster, Dominion War Victory Medal, and Citation of Exceptional Service.
Chief Corpsman Antar Hosc, EMT, Starfleet Edit
One of the few males in the Baton Rouge’s medical department, Chief Antar Hosc is the Senior Enlisted Advisor to Lt. (Dr.) Maegyn Manx. An unjoined Trill, he is a fully-qualified Emergency Medical Technician and trained independent duty corpsman.
During the Dominion War, HMC Hosc served on a front-line combat team as a battlefield medic, where he was awarded the Starfleet Citation for Conspicuous Gallantry.
Chief Ship’s Serviceman Zon glasch Preg, Starfleet Edit
The Senior Enlisted Advisor of the Baton Rouge’s supply department, Chief Zon glasch Preg comes from a long line of Starfleet personnel dating back to the founding of the Federation in the 2160s.
After a 15 year career in the supply division, there is very little that SHC Preg cannot get his hands on. He is an excellent haggler.
Chief Intelligence Specialist T’Pran, Starfleet Intelligence Edit
Relatively young for a Vulcan (in her early 40s), Chief T’Pran enlisted in Starfleet after graduating from the Vulcan Science Academy with a degree in information technology. She was recruited by Starfleet Intelligence as an Intelligence Specialist right out of basic training, and has fifteen years experience as an intelligence analyst. When the position of starship Intelligence Specialist opened up on the U.S.S. Baton Rouge, T’Pran requested the assignment. She is assisted in her duties by IS2 James Ryan, who handles most of the intelligence analysis while she concentrates more on operations.
Yeoman 1st Class Dominique Nicholls, Starfleet Edit
The Captain’s Yeoman, YN1 Dominique Nicholls was born and raised in Antananarivo, Madagascar on Earth. She is the middle child and only girl of her family. She considers herself to be a “townie” and left as soon as she was able to.
Although she considered applying for Starfleet Academy, Dominique decided to simply enlist. Ironically, she began her Starfleet career at the Academy, serving as one of their Food Service Specialists. After a few years as a FSS, she switched tracks and became a Yeoman; in this capacity, Dominique served at Starfleet Tactical, Starbase 247, and on the U.S.S. Terra Venture.
Upon her transfer to the Baton Rouge, Dominique was promoted to Petty Officer 1st Class. She maintains all of the day-to-day paperwork generated on board a starship, prioritizes the Captain’s schedule, and is essentially responsible for making sure the Captain can run his ship.
Engineer’s Mate 1st Class Ned Anderson, Starfleet Edit
The Baton Rouge’s primary holographic specialist, EN1 Ned Anderson is responsible for the ship’s holodecks, including maintenance and scheduling. In his capacity as a Lead Petty Officer, EN1 Anderson supervises a squad of engineers assigned to the holodecks.
He grew up in the dawn of the holodeck era, and once got in trouble for hacking into and reprogramming his high school’s holodeck. Upon joining Starfleet, EN1 Anderson was assigned to Jupiter Station as an enlisted holographic specialist, where he worked alongside holo-legends Dr. Lewis Zimmerman and Lt. Cmdr. Reginald Barclay.

She is one of two Nasat assigned to the Baton Rouge, along with Ensign D5 Green.
Construction Mechanic 2nd Class Christopher “Chris” Neeley, Starfleet Edit
Older than many of his crewmates of the same rank, CM2 Chris Neeley was a successful construction worker on Regulus III until it was destroyed by the Borg in 2381. Having escaped the destruction of his homeworld (and with it his business and family) because he was off-planet at the time, Neeley decided to enlist in order to help rebuild the Federation. After completing basic training, he spent the next few years traveling from post to post. Eventually, he made his way to the U.S.S. Baton Rouge where he serves on Lt. V-Adm. Vex came up through the ranks of Starflet Science Operations – the branch that dealt with managing and applying scientific research throughout Starfleet and the Federation at large. He was commissioned as a Science Officer after graduating from Starfleet Academy, but found his niche when serving as a relief tactical officer as a Lieutenant, junior grade. He is also a graduate of Starfleet Advanced Tactical Training. He served as Captain of the U.S.S. Archer during the Dominion War. Before receiving his own command, he was attached to Starfleet Tactical’s Anti-Borg Task Force.
As the officer-in-charge of the 1st Fleet, V-Adm. Vex has a good working relationship with his ship commanders, including Commander Gart Broox, Captain C17 Red, Captain Xiaoli Huang, and Commander Savok. V-Adm. Vex’s immediate superior is the Starfleet Sector Commander for Sector 002.
When a warship from an alternate timeline, the E.F.S. Illustrious under the command of Princeps Senior Jean-Luc Picard, entered his area of operations and disabled the U.S.S. Baton Rouge, V-Adm. Vex called most of the 1st Fleet to respond. Working alongside the U.S.S. Enterprise-E, the 1st Fleet was ultimately able to drive Illustrious back to their own universe.

Fleet Captain Jean-Luc Picard, Ph.D., Starfleet Edit
Main article: Jean-Luc Picard (Callin’ Baton Rouge)
Captain (Dr.) Beverly Cheryl Crusher-Picard (née Howard), M.D., Starfleet Edit
Longtime Chief Medical Officer of the U.S.S. Enterprise (NCC-1701-E) and wife of F-Capt. Picard, Dr. Beverly Crusher is a command-qualified medical officer with almost 40 years in the service. She holds the Starfleet rank of Captain, and is the second-highest ranking officer on the Enterprise (Commander Worf, in his capacity as First Officer, however, has the authority to issue orders to the Chief Medical Officer when necessary).
After medical school, Beverly married the love of her life, Lt. Cmdr. Jack Crusher, in 2348. Together, they have a son, Wesley Eugene Crusher, who, in 2370, evolved into a Traveler. Tragically, Beverly was widowed in 2354 after 5+ years of marriage when Jack was killed in action. Jack’s death led her to inactivate her Starfleet commission and become a civilian medical practitioner in St. Louis. After three years, Beverly rejoined Starfleet at the request of her close friend, Capt. Walker Keel, who was looking for a new Chief Medical Officer. In 2362, she was promoted to Commander, and in 2364, she was assigned to the U.S.S. Enterprise-D as Chief Medical Officer.
After more than 15 years as a Commander, Beverly was promoted to Captain when she took command of Starfleet Medical in 2379. However, the position turned out to be temporary, and she transferred back to the Enterprise a few months later while keeping her new rank. In 2385, Beverly was offered command of the medical ship, U.S.S. Pasteur.
In 2379, just after her transfer off the Enterprise, Beverly finally started a romance with Jean-Luc Picard that the two of them had been dancing around for nearly 15 years. The two married in 2380, and a year later, Beverly gave birth to their son (her second, his first), René Jacques Robert Francois Picard.
In an alternate timeline where Khan Noonien Soong won the Eugenics Wars of the 1990s and 2000s, Optio (Dr.) Beverly Picard was the human augment who served as the Chief Medical Officer on the Khanate of Earth’s flagship, the E.F.S. Illustrious. She was also Picard’s wife.
Commander Worf, son of Mogh, Starfleet Edit
First Officer of the U.S.S. Enterprise (NCC-1701-E), Commander Worf, son of Mogh, former Head of the House of Mogh, Member of the House of Martok, Member of the Order of the Bat’leth, has had a long and distinguished career in both the Federation and the Klingon Empire. Prior to becoming F-Capt. Picard’s first officer, he served on the U.S.S. Aldrin as a junior officer, on the Enterprise-D as the tactical officer/chief of security, on the I.K.S. Hegh’ta as tactical officer, on Deep Space 9 as the strategic operations officer, and on the U.S.S. Defiant as first officer. During the Dominion War, he also served as a Starfleet Liaison Officer to the Klingon Empire; in this capacity, Worf was assigned to General Martok’s flagship, the I.K.S. Rotarran, as his first officer. After the War, Worf retired from Starfleet in order to accept the post of Federation Ambassador to the Klingon Empire. He resigned from the Federation Diplomatic Corps a few years later and returned to Starfleet in order to serve as First Officer on the Enterprise-E.
In addition to his Starfleet rank of Commander, Worf holds an inactive commission as a Commander in the Klingon Defense Force.
As a young man, Worf was romantically involved with the ½ Klingon, ½ Human Ambassador K’Ehyler, and their relationship produced a son, Alexander. In 2374, Worf married Lt. Cmdr. Jadzia Dax; tragically, Jadzia was murdered by an insane Gul Dukat less than a year later.
Lieutenant Commander Taurik, Starfleet Edit
Having served as the U.S.S. Enterprise (NCC-1701-E)’s Assistant Chief Engineer for many years, Lt. Cmdr. Taurik was promoted to Chief Engineer after Geordi La Forge took command of the U.S.S. Challenger.
His twin brother, Vorik, served on the U.S.S. Voyager as Chief Engineer before transferring to Utopia Planita. Taurik lost his wife and young daughter in the Borg Invasion of 2381 when they destroyed the Vulcan capital city of ShiKahr. He is currently dating Lt. T’Ryssa “Trys” Chen has since become a Watch Officer – taking shifts at the helm, in the operations, engineering, and security departments, and even taking temporary command of the bridge while the senior officers are indisposed – when she’s not needed in her regular job. She previously served on the U.S.S. Rhea, a Luna-class starship under the command of Captain Bazel.
She and F-Capt. Picard have entered into a quasi-father/daughter relationship, which has only strengthened over time. When she first came aboard the Enterprise, Lt. Chen dated Deputy Chief of Security Rennan Konya; he broke it off with her after the Borg Invasion due to his post-traumatic stress disorder. She is currently seeing Lt. Cmdr. Taurik.

Picard to serve as his Chief of the Boat by Starfleet Command in the 2380s. A Rhaandarite, CMC Vegan enlisted in Starfleet in the 2260s immediately following his adolescent education.
The Enterprise is CMC Vegan’s first tour of duty as a Command Master Chief. While he has some experience leading enlisted crewmembers, he has never before been so involved in the day-to-day operations of a starship; this has resulted in some growing pains as he struggled to assimilate to his new duties, but like most members of the Enterprise crew, CMC Vegan has become a model Chief of the Boat. He is almost always addressed by F-Capt. Picard as “Master Chief”, and the rest of the crew generally call him “COB”.
CMC Vegan was devastated by the Borg attack on Rhaandarel; he lost his parents and his older brother and his entire family. Fortunately, Omal’s own family – his wife and two young children – lived with him on Deep Space 1, and were spared.
Throughout his career, CMC Vegan has been assigned to different departments and divisions of Starfleet, and has served on a Starfleet vessel or base in every conflict the Federation has been involved in from the Federation-Klingon Cold War of the 23rd century to the Tzenkethi and Cardassian conflicts of the mid-24th century to Dominion War and finally the Borg Invasion of 2381. He has Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemistry and Biochemistry, is a certified Emergency Medical Technician, an expert marksman, and a black belt (or equivalent) in Earth karate, Vulcan Tal-Shaya, and Alpha Centauran anbo-jyutsu; since joining the Enterprise, CMC Vegan has taken lessons in Klingon mok’bara taught by Commander Worf. He is a recipient of the Legion of Merit, Starfleet Citation for Conspicuous Gallantry, Karagite Order of Heroism, Starfleet Medal of Commendation, Presidential Unit Citation, Starfleet Good Conduct Medal with cluster, Federation-Klingon War Medal, Cardassian War Medal, Second Federation-Klingon War Medal, Battle of Cardassia Campaign Medal, Dominion War Victory Medal, Citation for Exceptional Service, and Basic Training Honor Graduate Ribbon. Like most members of Starfleet, CMC Vegan carries a Type-2 phaser as his standard sidearm.

Deep Space 9 Edit
Captain Ro Laren, M.S.S., Starfleet Edit
The Commanding Officer of Deep Space 9, Ro Laren has not had an easy life. She grew up in Jo’kala on Bajor during the Cardassian Occupation, and was orphaned at the age of seven. She joined the Bajoran Resistance as a teenager, but was asked to leave her cell after its leader (and her friend) was killed. She made her way to the Federation, where she enrolled in Starfleet Academy and became a Starfleet officer.
Ro’s first Starfleet career was cut short when, as an Ensign on the U.S.S. Wellington, she disobeyed orders on Garon II and eight crewmen were killed. She was convicted at general court-martial and imprisoned at the penal facility at Jaros II. After six years confinement, Ro was released and reinstated as a Starfleet Ensign and assigned to the U.S.S. Enterprise (NCC-1701-D) in order to help track down a group of Bajoran terrorists. After the conclusion of the mission (where it was revealed that the Cardassians framed the Bajorans), Captain Jean-Luc Picard invited her to stay aboard the Enterprise as its flight controller.
After a year of distinguished service, Ro was promoted to Lieutenant, junior grade and reassigned to Earth in order to partake in Starfleet Advanced Tactical Training. Upon the conclusion of the program, Ro received a Master’s degree in Strategic studies and was promoted to Lieutenant and returned to the Enterprise. Her first mission back was to infiltrate the Maquis; instead, she resigned her Starfleet commission to join the freedom fighters against the Cardassians.
Ro became one of the greatest heroes of the Maquis, along with Cal Hudson, Chakotay, Tom Riker, and Michael Eddington, and was one of the fortunate few to have survived the Jem’Hadar’s complete destruction of the organization.
After the Dominion War, Ro received a commission in the Bajoran Militia as a 1st Lieutenant, and was assigned to Deep Space 9 as its security chief. When Bajor joined the Federation in September 2376, Ro’s Starfleet commission as a Lieutenant was reactivated, thanks to some politicking by Captain Picard.
In 2378, DS9 commander Captain Kira Nerys retired and was replaced by Captain Elias Vaughn, who promoted Ro to the rank of Lieutenant Commander and appointed her his First Officer. A year later, when Captain Vaughn took command of the U.S.S. James T. Kirk, Ro was promoted to Commander and given command of the station. She was promoted to Captain in 2382.
After the destruction of Deep Space 9 in 2383, Ro was put in charge of the Wyntara Mas Control Center in Aljuli, Bajor, which was loaned to Starfleet and redesignated Bajoran Space Central while a new Deep Space 9 was created. When the new station was completed, Ro officially took command.
Captain Ro is single and has no children. She is a recipient of the Starfleet Citation for Conspicuous Gallantry, Starfleet Medal of Commendation, Presidential Unit Citation, Bridge Officer Certification, Command Officer Certification, and the Career Service Citation.
In an alternate timeline where Khan Noonien Soong won the Eugenics Wars of the 1990s and 2000s, Bajoran Helot Ro Laren was conscripted to the Khanate Earthfleet as a young woman. Ro’s fierceness of spirit caught the eye of Princeps Jean-Luc Picard, who took her aboard his vessel, the E.F.S. Illustrious, and assigned her to the security division (which was essentially the Illustrious’s cannon fodder). By the 2380s, Ro held seniority as the ship’s longest serving security helot, and was awarded the title of Tesserarius.

U.S.S. Challenger (NCC-71099) Edit
Captain Montgomery Edward “Scotty” Scott, Starfleet Corps of Engineers (Ret. 2383) (d. 2383) Edit
The Captain of the Galaxy-class U.S.S. Challenger (NCC-71099), the legendary Montgomery Scott grew up in the 23rd century, where he served as Chief Engineer on the U.S.S. Enterprise (NCC-1701) and its successor, the Enterprise-A, under the command of Captain James T. Kirk for the better part of 30 years. He retired from Starfleet with the rank of Captain after Kirk’s death in 2293. In 2294, on his way to the Norpin colony, the Starfleet transport ship that he was traveling on, the U.S.S. Jenolen, crashed on a Dyson Sphere and he and a fellow survivor, hid themselves in the transporter pattern buffer for the next 75 years.
Captain Scott was freed from the transporter in 2369 by the crew of the Enterprise-D, and he became friends with the ship's Chief Engineer, Geordi La Forge. After the Dominion War (during which he served on Adm. Nechayev's flagship, the U.S.S. Gorkon), Scotty was made the Starfleet Corps of Engineers Command Liaison.
In 2382, Scotty commissioned the Challenger to serve as the SCE flagship, and he took direct command of himself. Unfortunately, after six months in command, he was forced to retire from active duty due to his age and injuries. He was replaced on Challenger by Commander Geordi La Forge, whom Scotty promoted to Captain himself, and at SCE Headquarters by Sonya Gomez of the U.S.S. da Vinci, who received her own promotion to the rank of Rear Admiral, lower half.
Now a civilian, Scotty served as an engineering consultant until he sacrificed himself to save the ship. It was said that nobody could have survived the catastrophe, but if anybody could have, it would be him.
Captain Geordi La Forge, Starfleet Corps of Engineers Edit
Captain of the new Starfleet Corps of Engineers flagship, Geordi La Forge took over the Galaxy-class U.S.S. Challenger (NCC-71099) after its original captain, the legendary Montgomery Scott, was forced to retire from active duty due to his age and injuries. He was replaced as Chief Engineer on the Enterprise-E by his assistant chief, Lieutenant Commander Taurik.
On the Challenger, Geordi’s senior staff include Cmdr. Lolo as first officer, Lt. Cmdr. Reginald Barclay as second officer and operations manager, Lt. Cmdr. Nog as tactical officer/chief of security, Lt. Cmdr. Voloczin as chief engineer, Qat’qa, a Klingon exchange officer and helmsman, and Lt. (Dr.) Alyssa Ogawa as chief medical officer. His immediate superior is the newly-appointed SCE Command Liaison, Rear Admiral, lower half Sonya Gomez, who began her career in Geordi’s engine room on the Enterprise-D.
Commander Lolo, Starfleet Corps of Engineers Edit
The First Officer of the U.S.S. Challenger (NCC-71099), Belandrid Commander Lolo also serves as the head of the ship’s SCE contingent. He previously served on the SCE ships U.S.S. Trosper and U.S.S. Musgrave.
Lieutenant Commander Reginald Endicott “Reg” Barclay, III, M.Sc., Starfleet Edit
Second Officer and Operations Manager of the U.S.S. Challenger (NCC-71099), Lt. Cmdr. Reg Barclay has come a long way since the beginning of his Starfleet career. His specialty is holographic systems, and he has finally gotten to the point where being a Starfleet officer, especially third-in-command of a Galaxy-class ship, no longer completely terrifies him.
Lieutenant Commander Nog, Starfleet Edit
Son of the current Grand Nagus of the Ferengi Alliance, Lt. Cmdr. Nog serves as the Tactical Officer and Chief of Security on the U.S.S. Challenger (NCC-71099), despite being an engineer at heart.
Lieutenant Commander Voloczin “Vol”, Starfleet Edit
Chief Engineer of the U.S.S. Challenger (NCC-71099)
Lieutenant Qat’qa “Kat”, KDF Edit
Helmsman of the U.S.S. Challenger (NCC-71099), Lt. Qat’qa is the most decorated test pilot in the Klingon Defense Force. She was recruited to Challenger by Captain Montgomery Scott, who knew her former Head of House, Dahar Master Kang, from the 23rd century. After Captain Scott’s death, Lt. Qat’qa was recalled by the KDF; Captain La Forge, along with many of the crew, was sorry to see her go, but he didn’t have the same pull with either Starfleet or the KDF that Scotty did and there wasn’t anything he could do to stop the transfer.
Lieutenant (Dr.) Alyssa Ogawa, M.D., Starfleet Edit
Previously the Head Nurse on the Enterprise-E and the U.S.S. Titan, Alyssa Ogawa transferred to the U.S.S. Challenger in 2382 in order to give her son, Noah, a safer childhood on a starbase rather than on a starship in the unknown frontier. At the same time, she polished off her medical degree and was promoted to Chief Medical Officer.
In 2383, Dr. Ogawa had the sad, solemn duty to relieve Captain Scott of his command due to health issues.
U.S.S. Excalibur (NCC-26517-A) Edit
Captain Mackenzie “Mac” Calhoun, Starfleet Edit
The Commanding Officer of the U.S.S. Excalibur (NCC-26517-A)
In an alternate timeline where Khan Noonien Soong won the Eugenics Wars of the 1990s and 2000s, Optio M’k’n’zy of Calhoun was the Xenexian warrior who served as the First Officer on the Khanate of Earth’s flagship, the E.F.S. Illustrious. M’k’n’zy is one of the few non-humans to hold such a high rank on a Earthfleet vessel in its entire 200+ years as a spacefaring power; he was given such an honor by Princeps Picard after he assisted the Illustrious in crushing the alliance of Thallon, Xenex, and Danter in Sector 221-G.

He served with distinction during the Dominion War (during which time he was decorated with the Christopher Pike Medal of Valor), and has been an exchange officer with the Klingon Defense Force. He is also intelligent, having graduated near the top of his class from Starfleet Academy, the Starfleet Command Staff College, where he earned a Master of Military Art and Science degree, and Starfleet Advanced Tactical Training, where he earned a Master of Strategic Studies degree.

Mayor T’Grell Edit
The Mayor of San Francisco, T’Grell was elected in 2370, and has served as the city’s first non-human Mayor ever since.
Phlux, Federation Postmaster General Edit
Although not nearly as large in the 24th century as its American ancestor, the UFP Postal Service is still a vital part of the Federation. It is currently led by Phlux, a Denobulan male, who carries the title of Postmaster General. Before being appointed Postmaster General by the President of the UFP with the advice and consent of the Federation Council, Phlux served as the Chairman, President & Chief Executive Officer of the Federation Express Corporation, the Federation’s largest courier delivery service.
Ambassador Spock, FDC Edit
One of the Federation’s most revered Ambassadors-at-Large
Ambassador Lwaxana Troi, FDC Edit

She is acquainted with Commander Gart Broox of the U.S.S. Baton Rouge, and is the mother of Commander Deanna Troi, the Head Counselor and Diplomatic Officer of the U.S.S. Titan. Her cousin, Cort Enaren, is the current Federation Councillor for Betazed.

While passing through their area of operations, Amb. Troi was escorted to her destination by the U.S.S. Baton Rouge.
In an alternate timeline where Khan Noonien Soong won the Eugenics Wars of the 1990s and 2000s, Betazoid Helot Lwaxana Troi served on the E.F.S. Illustrious under Princeps Jean-Luc Picard, who used her as his personal telepath, and she bore him his only biological child, Barin. Lwaxana is a fierce rival of Optio Beverly Picard, the Princeps’s wife and Chief Medical Officer, and the only reason the doctor has not put the old crone out of her misery is because of her value as the ship’s telepath.

Although he is a “legitimate” officer of the Orion military, Maike has numerous connections to the seedy side of Orion society.
DaiMon Jaila, Ferengi Alliance Edit
One of the first legitimate female DaiMons of the Ferengi Alliance, Jaila got her command (the F.M.S. Smeet, a Goront-class war cruiser named after the only Grand Nagus to be assassinated) in the early 2380s and was assigned to the Ferengi-Federation border (ostensibly to keep the older, sexist DaiMons from having to deal with her). It is Jaila’s goal to become the first female GuiMon in the Alliance.
DaiMon Jaila first met Commander Gart Broox while he was serving on the U.S.S. San Francisco and the two have engaged in a profitable friendship.
With the agreement of both the Alliance and the Federation, DaiMon Jaila has taken a Starfleet officer onto her senior staff through the Office Exchange Program. She has also hired Gramish, a female Nausicaan, as her chief of security and personal bodyguard.
Jennifer Snow Edit
Hailed as the greatest pop music singer/songwriter of the mid-/late-2370s and early-2380s (A/N: the Taylor Swift of the 24th century), Jennifer Snow (born Jennifer White) rose to prominence shortly after the end of the Dominion War. Her songs, most written by her and her friends, are about her own personal experiences as a teenager and young adult, and resonate with music listeners of all ages. She is also a very attractive female, having many fans that have her picture hanging up on their walls.
While many of her songs are about the day-to-day drama of life as a teenager in the 24th century, Snow’s very first song (and the one that catapulted her into the spotlight), is called “A Father’s Love”, sung in the memory of her father, Lieutenant Nicholas “Nick” White, who died during the Battle of Cardassia (the last battle of the Dominion War) while serving as a security officer on the U.S.S. Galaxy (NCC-70637). The song was about her experiences with and love for her dad, first as a little girl, then as a teenager, and finally as a hero who died so she could live.
As an interstellar pop sensation, Snow has toured all over the known universe, and has even played specialty shows on Qo’noS (where she met and became friends with Kasara, daughter of Karek, a rising star in the world of Klingon music). Her closest friend, however, remains fellow Federation music sensation Desma sh’Sena.
While passing through their area of operations, Snow was escorted to her destination by the U.S.S. Baton Rouge. She honored the ship and its crew by performing some of her hit songs with the ship’s band.
Richard “Dick” Stifler, CEO Edit
The biggest porn mogul in the Federation, Dick Stifler began in “the industry” as an actor at the age of 19, and spent the next 20 years working his way up the ladder until he was able to start his own business, Stifler Entertainment Enterprises, headquartered in Times Square, New York.
A true xenophile, Stifler has made it his life’s mission to sleep with at least one member of every species in the United Federation of Planets, as well as their allies.
Princeps Senior Jean-Luc Picard, Khanate Earthfleet Edit
In an alternate timeline where Khan Noonien Soong won the Eugenics Wars of the 1990s and 2000s, Princeps Senior Jean-Luc Picard was the human augment who commanded the Khanate of Earth’s flagship, the E.F.S. Illustrious, and was the personal agent of Tiberius Sejanus Singh, the Imperator of the Khanate of Earth. This led him to be dubbed as “the Khan’s Dagger,” one of the most feared men in the Khanate. His predecessor as “the Khan’s Dagger” was Legate Tiberius James Kirk in the 23rd century.
For his actions in helping the Earthfleet crush the alliance of Thallon, Xenex, and Danter in Sector 221-G, Princeps Senior Picard made M’k’n’zy of Calhoun, a Xenexian, his first officer – which was exceedingly rare for a nonhuman to hold such a rank. Other officers on his ship include Dr. Beverly Picard, his wife and chief medical officer, Centurion Alynna Nechayev, his second officer and intelligence specialist, Centurion Reginald Barclay, his chief engineer, Altern Tasha Yar, his tactical officer and chief of security, Altern Sam Lavelle, his helmsman, Decurion Benito Salazar, his transporter chief, Tesserarius Ro Laren, his senior security helot, and Helot Lwaxana Troi, his mind-reading mistress and the mother of his illegitimate child, Barin. When his former Optio, William Riker, was promoted to Princeps of the E.F.S. Excalibur, he took his share of Picard’s officers and helots with him, including Elizabeth Shelby (who now serves as Excalibur’s Executive Officer), Picard’s stepson, Wesley (now Excalibur’s Chief Engineer), and Helot Deanna Troi, Lwaxana’s daughter and Riker’s longtime lover.
During a crossover into an alternate universe, Princeps Senior Picard and the Illustrious went on a rampage through Starfleet Sector 002 until they were forced back into their own universe by the U.S.S. Enterprise-E (under the command of their universe’s Jean-Luc Picard) and members of the Starfleet 1st Fleet.
