Here are a list of characters appearing in Digimon: The Next Adventure.

Humans Edit

Taichi “Tai” Kamiya Edit

Leader of the first team of DigiDestined, Tai Kamiya was a happy-go-lucky, adventurous, but naïve 11-year-old kid who, along with his friends, Yamato “Matt” Ishida, Sora Takenouchi, Koushiro “Izzy” Izumi, Mimi Tachikawa, Joe Kido and Takeru “T.K.” Takaishi, was pulled into the Digital World from their summer camp.  There, he received a Digivice and met his Partner Digimon, Koromon, who would become his best friend ever.

As a child living in Highton View Terrace, Japan, with his parents, Susumu and Yuuko Kamiya, and younger sister, Kari, he and Kari met a Botamon in the “real world”.  There, Botamon digivolved to Koromon, then Agumon and finally Greymon to protect him and Kari from Parrotmon.  His family later moved to Odaiba, where he attended and graduated from Odaiba High School.

The leader of the group, Tai was always the first to jump into action; he often acts on impulse without realizing the consequences of his actions because of his desire to help people, something that sometimes puts him into conflict with his friends.  As a true leader, however, he manages to do whatever is necessary to rectify the situation, and in times of need, save friends, family and the world from certain doom.

After the DigiDestined defeated a myriad of threats, including Devimon, Etemon, Myotismon, the Dark Masters, and Apocalymon, Tai returned to the real world and a normal life.  However, three years later, a new threat emerged in the Digital World, the Digimon Emperor.  Tai and his friends become mentors to the next generation of DigiDestined, and assisted them in the defeat of the Digimon Emperor, Arukenimon and Mummymon, BlackWarGreymon, Daemon and his corps, and MaloMyotismon, the last of whom survived his fight with the Original DigiDestined three years prior.

As the DigiDestined learned that there were other children with Partner Digimon all over the world, Tai became the leader of the world’s DigiDestined, due to his wealth of experience and the respect he’s earned from his achievements in both worlds (he’s also one of the few DigiDestined with a Partner Digimon that can digivolve to Mega).  His second-in-command is Matt Ishida, and he frequently delegates missions to various team leaders around the world.  Tai was on the team that went to the Dark Ocean to rescue Kari from Dragomon.

When Tai and the others learned that the Japanese military liaison to the Digital World, Col. Shinji Matsumura, was planning to destroy the DigiWorld in order to “safeguard Earth and the human race”, he began to organize a defense force in the Digital World consisting of both Partner and non-Partner Digimon, while working with people on Earth to come to a nonviolent resolution to Col. Matsumura’s war.

During an attack on the Koromon Village by Col. Matsumura, Tai and Noriko Kawada, the leader of Japan’s third DigiDestined team, teamed up with the villagers to repel the attack.  In the fight, the light from Tai’s and Noriko’s digivices enabled the Koromon to digivolve in order to help against Col. Matsumura’s forces.

Tai’s Partner Digimon is Agumon.  Agumon’s other forms include Botamon (Baby), Koromon (In-Training), Greymon (Champion), MetalGreymon (Ultimate), and WarGreymon (Mega).  WarGreymon can also DNA Digivolve with MetalGarurumon to form Omnimon, one of the most powerful Digimon in the Digital World.  He is the bearer of the Crest of Courage.

Yamato “Matt” Ishida Edit

Tai’s second-in-command, Yamato Ishida, better known as Matt to all his friends, who was pulled into the Digital World from summer camp at the age of 11, along with his friends Taichi “Tai” Kamiya, Sora Takenouchi, Koushiro “Izzy” Izumi, Mimi Tachikawa, Joe Kido and his younger brother, Takeru “T.K.” Takaishi.  There, he received a Digivice and met his Partner Digimon, Tsunomon, who would become his best friend.

After the DigiDestined defeated a myriad of threats, including Devimon, Etemon, Myotismon, the Dark Masters, and Apocalymon, Matt returned to the real world and a normal life; by high school, he had his own rock and roll band that played a bunch of shows around Odaiba.  However, three years later, a new threat emerged in the Digital World, the Digimon Emperor.  Matt and his friends become mentors to the next generation of DigiDestined, and assisted them in the defeat of the Digimon Emperor, Arukenimon and Mummymon, BlackWarGreymon, Daemon and his corps, and MaloMyotismon, the last of whom survived his fight with the Original DigiDestined three years prior.

Due to his status as an “original” DigiDestined, Matt has a wealth of experience and a large amount of respect he’s earned from his achievements in both worlds (he’s also one of the few DigiDestined with a Partner Digimon that can digivolve to Mega) that he strives to pass on to the DigiDestined around the world.

Matt lives with his father, Hiroaki, a reporter for Fuji TV Network, Inc.  His mother, Nancy, is also a reporter, albeit for a newspaper instead of television.  When his parents divorced, his father retained custody of him, while his mom had full custody of T.K.  He is currently dating his teammate and fellow DigiDestined Sora.

Matt’s Partner Digimon is Gabumon.  Gabumon’s other forms include Punimon (Baby), Tsunomon (In-Training), Garurumon (Champion), WereGarurumon (Ultimate), and MetalGarurumon (Mega).  MetalGarurumon can also DNA Digivolve with WarGreymon to form Omnimon, one of the most powerful Digimon in the Digital World.  He is the bearer of the Crest of Friendship.

Sora Takenouchi Edit

One of the two (later three) female members of the first team of DigiDestined, Sora Takenouchi, along with her friends, Taichi “Tai” Kamiya, Yamato “Matt” Ishida, Koushiro “Izzy” Izumi, Mimi Tachikawa, Joe Kido and Takeru “T.K.” Takaishi, was pulled into the Digital World from their summer camp.  There, she received a Digivice and met her Partner Digimon, Yokomon, who would become her best friend forever.

After the DigiDestined defeated a myriad of threats, including Devimon, Etemon, Myotismon, the Dark Masters, and Apocalymon, Sora returned to the real world and a normal life.  However, three years later, a new threat emerged in the Digital World, the Digimon Emperor.  Sora and her friends become mentors to the next generation of DigiDestined, and assisted them in the defeat of the Digimon Emperor, Arukenimon and Mummymon, BlackWarGreymon, Daemon and his corps, and MaloMyotismon, the last of whom survived his fight with the Original DigiDestined three years prior.

Due to her status as an “original” DigiDestined, Sora has a wealth of experience and a large amount of respect she’s earned from her achievements in both worlds that she strives to pass on to the DigiDestined around the world.

Sora lives at home in Odaiba with her mother, Toshiko, with whom she had a strained relationship that improved after Sora firs traveled to the Digital World.  Her father, Haruhiko, is a Professor of Anthropology at the University of Tokyo, but often travels around the world as a researcher and visiting professor.  She is currently dating her teammate and fellow DigiDestined Matt.

Sora’s Partner Digimon is Biyomon.  Biyomon’s other forms include Nyokimon (Baby), Yokomon (In-Training), Birdramon (Champion), Garudamon (Ultimate), and Phoenixmon (Mega).  She is the bearer of the Crest of Love.

Koushiro “Izzy” Izumi Edit

Easily the smartest member of the first team of DigiDestined, Koushiro “Izzy” Izumi was pulled into the Digital World from summer camp, along with his friends, Taichi “Tai” Kamiya, Yamato “Matt” Ishida, Sora Takenouchi, Mimi Tachikawa, Joe Kido and Takeru “T.K.” Takaishi.  There, he received a Digivice and met his Partner Digimon, Motimon, who would become his best friend.

After the DigiDestined defeated a myriad of threats, including Devimon, Etemon, Myotismon, the Dark Masters, and Apocalymon, Izzy returned to the real world and a normal life.  However, three years later, a new threat emerged in the Digital World, the Digimon Emperor.  Izzy and his friends become mentors to the next generation of DigiDestined, and assisted them in the defeat of the Digimon Emperor, Arukenimon and Mummymon, BlackWarGreymon, Daemon and his corps, and MaloMyotismon, the last of whom survived his fight with the Original DigiDestined three years prior.

Due to his status as an “original” DigiDestined, Izzy has a wealth of experience and a large amount of respect he’s earned from his achievements in both worlds that he strives to pass on to the DigiDestined around the world.

Izzy lives at home with his parents, Masami and Kae, who adopted him as a baby.

Izzy’s Partner Digimon is Tentomon.  Tentomon’s other forms include Pabumon (Baby), Motimon (In-Training), Kabuterimon (Champion), MegaKabuterimon (Ultimate), and HerculesKabuterimon (Mega).  He is the bearer of the Crest of Knowledge.

Mimi Tachikawa Edit

One of the two (later three) female members of the first team of DigiDestined, Mimi Tachikawa, along with her friends, Taichi “Tai” Kamiya, Yamato “Matt” Ishida, Sora Takenouchi, Koushiro “Izzy” Izumi, Joe Kido and Takeru “T.K.” Takaishi, was pulled into the Digital World from their summer camp.  There, she received a Digivice and met her Partner Digimon, Tanemon, who would become her best friend forever.

After the DigiDestined defeated a myriad of threats, including Devimon, Etemon, Myotismon, the Dark Masters, and Apocalymon, Mimi returned to the real world and a normal life.  During this time, Mimi and her parents moved to New York City for her father’s work.  However, three years later, a new threat emerged in the Digital World, the Digimon Emperor.  Mimi and her friends become mentors to the next generation of DigiDestined, and assisted them in the defeat of the Digimon Emperor, Arukenimon and Mummymon, BlackWarGreymon, Daemon and his corps, and MaloMyotismon, the last of whom survived his fight with the Original DigiDestined three years prior.

Due to her status as an “original” DigiDestined, Mimi is the undisputed leader of the DigiDestined in New York City, and many DigiDestined across America follow her lead.  Mimi is also close friends with many Digimon, including KingSukamon (the Mega form of a Chuumon she met on her first journey through the DigiWorld), ShogunGekomon (previously a Gekomon), and even Ogremon.

Mimi lives in New York City with her parents, Keisuke and Satoe Tachikawa.  She is currently dating fellow DigiDestined Michael Barton.

Mimi’s Partner Digimon is Palmon.  Palmon’s other forms include Yuramon (Baby), Tanemon (In-Training), Togemon (Champion), Lillymon (Ultimate), and Rosemon (Mega).  She is the bearer of the Crest of Sincerity.

Dr. Joe Kido, M.D. Edit

The oldest member of the first team of DigiDestined, “good old reliable” Joe Kido was pulled into the Digital World from summer camp, along with his friends, Taichi “Tai” Kamiya, Yamato “Matt” Ishida, Sora Takenouchi, Koushiro “Izzy” Izumi, Mimi Tachikawa, and Takeru “T.K.” Takaishi.  There, he received a Digivice and met his Partner Digimon, Bukamon, who would become his best friend.

After the DigiDestined defeated a myriad of threats, including Devimon, Etemon, Myotismon, the Dark Masters, and Apocalymon, Joe returned to the real world and a normal life.  During this time, Joe hopped on the fast track to a good college and then medical school.  However, three years later, a new threat emerged in the Digital World, the Digimon Emperor.  Joe and his friends become mentors to the next generation of DigiDestined, and assisted them in the defeat of the Digimon Emperor, Arukenimon and Mummymon, BlackWarGreymon, Daemon and his corps, and MaloMyotismon, the last of whom survived his fight with the Original DigiDestined three years prior.

In addition to acting as the group’s older brother and medic, Joe is also the leader of any underwater operations undertaken by the DigiDestined in the DigiWorld.

Joe’s father is a doctor, who strived to have his two sons follow him into the family business.  However, Joe’s older brother, Jim, took one of Professor Haruhiko Takenouchi’s anthropology classes and dropped out of the med program and became the professor’s right-hand man.

Joe’s Partner Digimon is Gomamon.  Gomamon’s other forms include Pichimon (Baby), Bukamon (In-Training), Ikkakumon (Champion), Zudomon (Ultimate), and Plesiomon (Mega).  He is the bearer of the Crest of Reliability.

Takeru “T.K.” Takaishi Edit

The youngest member of the original team of DigiDestined, T.K. Takaishi was just eight years old during his first adventure in the Digital World.  There, he was forced to grow up fast, but it was with his help that Patamon was able to digivolve which was instrumental in the defeat of Devimon (the DigiDestined’s first adversary) and Piedmon, the leader of the Dark Masters.

During their battle with Devimon, Patamon digivolved into Angemon and sacrificed himself in order to destroy Devimon, leaving T.K. traumatized to the point where he possessed an utter hatred of “the powers of darkness” and nightmares about losing his partner again years after the fact.

After the DigiDestined defeated a myriad of threats, including Devimon, Etemon, Myotismon, the Dark Masters, and Apocalymon, T.K. returned to the real world and a normal life.  However, three years later, a new threat emerged in the Digital World, the Digimon Emperor, and T.K. joined the next generation of DigiDestined his own age, presenting them with the voice of experience.  He participated in the battles against the Digimon Emperor, Arukenimon and Mummymon, BlackWarGreymon, Daemon and his corps, and ultimately MaloMyotismon.

When the DigiDestined began getting organized, T.K. split his time between his two teams.  He also acts as a free agent, along with the other original DigiDestined, assisting others in operations around the DigiWorld.  T.K. was on the team that went to the Dark Ocean to rescue Kari from Dragomon.

T.K. lives with his mother, a newspaper reporter.  His father, Hiroaki, is also a reporter, albeit for television instead of a newspaper.  When his parents divorced, his mother retained custody of him, while his dad had full custody of Matt.

T.K.’s Partner Digimon is Patamon.  Patamon’s other forms include Poyomon (Baby), Tokomon (In-Training), Pegasusmon (Armor), Angemon (Champion), MagnaAngemon (Ultimate), and Seraphimon (Mega).  Angemon can also DNA Digivolve with Ankylomon to form Shakkoumon, and Shakkoumon can Mega Digivolve to Vikemon.  He is the bearer of the Crest of Hope, as well as the Digi-Egg of Hope.

Hikari “Kari” Kamiya Edit

The eighth DigiDestined child of the original team, Kari Kamiya was left behind with the flu when the original seven DigiDestined entered the Digital World from summer camp.  When Myotismon appeared in the “real world”, Kari discovered her identity and that of her Partner Digimon, Myotismon’s henchman Gatomon.  Once Kari was united with Gatomon, she used her Digivice and Crest of Light to enable Gatomon to digivolve to Angewomon and (temporarily) stop Myotismon.

After helping her team defeat the Dark Masters and Apocalymon, Kari returned to the real world and a normal life.  However, three years later, a new threat emerged in the Digital World, the Digimon Emperor, and Kari joined the next generation of DigiDestined her own age, presenting them with the voice of experience.  She participated in the battles against the Digimon Emperor, Arukenimon and Mummymon, BlackWarGreymon, Daemon and his corps, and ultimately MaloMyotismon.

When the DigiDestined began getting organized, Kari split her time between her two teams.  She also acts as a free agent, along with the other original DigiDestined, assisting others in operations around the DigiWorld.

After the battles against MaloMyotismon and Armageddemon, Kari was once again summoned to the Dark Ocean, this time by Dragomon.  The Ultimate-level Digimon wanted to take Kari as his queen and use her power of Light to strengthen his power of Darkness.  Fortunately, Ken was able to open a DigiPort to the Dark Ocean and lead a rescue team consisting of Davis, Yolei, Cody, T.K., Tai, and himself and their Digimon.  While there, Kari activated the power of the Crest of Light to allow Angewomon to Mega Digivolve into Magnadramon.

Kari’s Partner Digimon is Gatomon.  Gatomon’s other forms include YukimiBotamon (Baby), Nyaromon (In-Training), Salamon (Rookie), Nefertimon (Armor), Angewomon (Ultimate), and Magnadramon (Mega).  Gatomon can also DNA Digivolve with Aquilamon to form Silphymon, and Silphymon can Mega Digivolve to Valkyrimon.  She is the bearer of the Crest of Light, as well as the Digi-Egg of Light.

Daisuke “Davis” Motomiya Edit

The leader of the second generation of DigiDestined in Japan

When the DigiDestined began getting organized, Davis became the secondary leader of the DigiDestined in Japan, working with Tai and the other original DigiDestined.  Other than the originals, Davis is one of the few DigiDestined worldwide with a Partner Digimon able to digivolve to the Mega level (albeit through DNA Digivolution with Ken and Wormmon).  Davis was on the team that went to the Dark Ocean to rescue Kari from Dragomon.

A few months after MaloMyotismon and Armageddemon were stopped, Davis borrowed the Digi-Eggs from his friends so that Veemon could Armor Digivolve into other forms.  To date, Veemon is the only Partner Digimon to have used all of the Digi-Eggs to digivolve.

Davis’s Partner Digimon is Veemon.  Veemon’s other forms include Chubimon (Baby), DemiVeemon (In-Training), Flamdedramon (Armor), Raidramon (Armor), Magnamon (Golden Armor), and ExVeemon (Champion).  ExVeemon can DNA Digivolve with Stingmon to form Paildramon, and Paildramon can Mega Digivolve to Imperialdramon.  He is the bearer of the Digi-Eggs of Courage and Friendship and the Golden Digi-Egg of Miracles.

Yolei Inoue Edit

A member of the second generation of DigiDestined in Japan

Yolei was on the team that went to the Dark Ocean to rescue Kari from Dragomon.

Yolei’s Partner Digimon is Hawkmon.  Hawkmon’s other forms include Pururumon (Baby), Poromon (In-Training), Halsemon (Armor), Shurimon (Armor), and Aquilamon (Champion).  Aquilamon can DNA Digivolve with Gatomon to form Silphymon, and Silphymon can Mega Digivolve to Valkyrimon.  She is the bearer of the Digi-Eggs of Love and Sincerity.

Cody Hida Edit

The youngest member of the second generation of DigiDestined, Cody Hida is wise beyond his years.

Cody was on the team that went to the Dark Ocean to rescue Kari from Dragomon.

Cody lives in Odaiba with his mother, Fumiko and grandfather, Chikara, with whom he is very close.  His father, Hiroki, was a police officer who was killed protecting an important political figure in 1999, shortly before Myotismon launched his attack on Earth.

Cody’s Partner Digimon is Armadillomon.  Armadillomon’s other forms include Tsubumon (Baby), Upamon (In-Training), Digmon (Armor), Submarimon (Armor), and Ankylomon (Champion).  Ankylomon can DNA Digivolve with Angemon to form Shakkoumon, and Shakkoumon can Mega Digivolve to Vikemon.  He is the bearer of the Digi-Eggs of Knowledge and Reliability.

Ken Ichijouji Edit

The sixth member of the second generation of DigiDestined, Ken Ichijouji was corrupted by the powers of darkness after the death of his older brother, Sam.  Eventually, Ken became the Digimon Emperor, enslaving Digimon and trying to take over the Digital World.  He was beaten by the DigiDestined after creating Kimeramon, who was destroyed by Magnamon and his own Partner Digimon, Wormmon, who gave his life to return Ken to the kindhearted boy he’d been before he became the Digimon Emperor.

After Wormmon was reborn at the Primary Village, Ken began trying to atone for all the horrible deeds he’d committed as the Digimon Emperor, finding some redemption fighting alongside the DigiDestined against Arukenimon and Mummymon, BlackWarGreymon, Daemon and his corps, and ultimately MaloMyotismon.

When the DigiDestined began getting organized, Ken remained with his team.  Other than the originals, Ken is one of the few DigiDestined worldwide with a Partner Digimon able to digivolve to the Mega level (albeit through DNA Digivolution with Davis and Veemon).

A few months after MaloMyotismon and Armageddemon were stopped, Ken was able to tap into the power of the Crest of Kindness, enabling Stingmon to digivolve to Dinobeemon; thus far, he is the only member of Davis’s team that can digivolve to Ultimate without DNA digivolving.  He also learned of the location of the Digi-Egg of Kindness, which allows Wormmon to armor digivolve into Bucchiemon.

Using his D-3, Ken opened a DigiPort to the Dark Ocean in order to allow the DigiDestined team to rescue Kari, who had been summoned to the Dark Ocean by Dragomon.

Ken’s Partner Digimon is Wormmon.  Wormmon’s other forms include Leafmon (Baby), Minomon (In-Training), Bucchiemon (Armor), Stingmon (Champion), Dinobeemon (Ultimate), and GranKuwagamon (Mega).  Stingmon can DNA Digivolve with ExVeemon to form Paildramon, and Paildramon can Mega Digivolve to Imperialdramon.  He is the bearer of the Crest of Kindness.

Noriko Kawada Edit

The leader of the third generation of DigiDestined in Japan, Noriko Kawada was a sickly girl who was implanted with a Dark Spore by Yukio Oikawa at the age of 11.  After being freed from its influence, Noriko witnessed the destruction of MaloMyotismon and subsequently joined the ranks of the DigiDestined with her Partner Digimon, a female Agumon.

During an attack on the Koromon Village by Col. Matsumura, Noriko and Tai Kamiya, the leader of all the DigiDestined worldwide, teamed up with the villagers to repel the attack.  In the fight, the light from Noriko’s and Tai’s digivices enabled the Koromon to digivolve in order to help against Col. Matsumura’s forces.

Like Ken, Noriko retains some of the advanced intelligence given to her by the Dark Spore.  She also has the capacity – yet not the need – to open a gateway to the Dark Ocean.

Noriko’s Partner Digimon is Agumon.  Agumon’s other forms include Botamon (Baby), Koromon (In-Training), Tyrannomon (Champion), MasterTyrannomon (Ultimate), and Goldramon (Mega).  She is the bearer of the Crest of Kindness.

Toshiro Sujiyama Edit

A relatively new DigiDestined

Toshiro’s Partner Digimon is Candlemon.  Candlemon’s other forms include Mokumon (Baby), DemiMeramon (In-Training), Meramon (Champion), SkullMeramon (Ultimate), and Boltmon (Mega).

Willis Edit

A DigiDestined who lives in Colorado, Willis is the first foreign DigiDestined encountered by the DigiDestined of Japan.

Due to a twist of fate, Willis is partnered with two Digimon, twins Terriermon and Lopmon.

Willis’s Partner Digimon are Terriermon and Lopmon.  Terriermon’s other forms include Zerimon (Baby), Gummymon (In-Training), Rapidmon (Golden Armor), Gargomon (Champion), Rapidmon (Ultimate), and MegaGargomon (Mega).  Lopmon’s other forms include Conomon (Baby), Kokomon (In-Training), Wendigomon (Champion), Antylamon (Ultimate), and Cherubimon (Mega).  He is the bearer of the Golden Digi-Egg of Destiny.

Michael Barton Edit

One of Mimi Tachikawa’s closest friends in America, Michael Barton is a DigiDestined from New York City.  He assisted the Japanese DigiDestined during their quest to destroy the Control Spires that appeared around Earth in 2002, and later participated in the final battle against MaloMyotismon.  The son of a Hollywood movie star and a former British debutante, Michael enjoys the finer things in life.  He and Mimi are currently dating.

While on a date in the Digital World, Michael and Mimi were attacked by Geremon – the violent and repulsive cousin of Numemon.  Geremon was able to hold its own against both Seadramon and Togemon, but Michael was able to channel the Crest of Reliability to enable Seadramon to digivolve into MegaSeadramon, an Ultimate-level Digimon, who was able to make quick work out of Geremon.

Michael’s Partner Digimon is Betamon.  Betamon’s other forms include Pichimon (Baby), Bukamon (In-Training), Seadramon (Champion), MegaSeadramon (Ultimate), and MetalSeadramon (Mega).  He is the bearer of the Crest of Reliability.

Han Poi Edit

The oldest of the three Poi brothers, Han and his brothers assisted the Japanese DigiDestined during their quest to destroy the Control Spires that appeared around Earth in 2002, and later participated in the final battle against MaloMyotismon.

When the DigiDestined began getting organized, Han became the leader of the DigiDestined in Hong Kong, and many DigiDestined across China follow his lead.

Like his brothers, Han has a crush of Kari Kamiya.

Han’s Partner Digimon is Syakomon.  Syakomon’s other forms include Pichimon (Baby), Bukamon (In-Training), Octomon (Champion), and Dragomon (Ultimate).

Derek Edit

A DigiDestined from Queensland, Australia, Derek assisted the Japanese DigiDestined during their quest to destroy the Control Spires that appeared around Earth in 2002, and later participated in the final battle against MaloMyotismon.

When the DigiDestined began getting organized, Derek became the leader of the DigiDestined in Australia.

Derek’s Partner Digimon is Crabmon.  Crabmon’s other forms include Pichimon (Baby), Bukamon (In-Training), Coelamon (Champion), Scorpiomon (Ultimate), and Pukumon (Mega).

Catherine Deneuve Edit

A DigiDestined from Versailles, Catherine Deneuve is a beautiful young girl.  She assisted the Japanese DigiDestined during their quest to destroy the Control Spires that appeared around Earth in 2002, and later participated in the final battle against MaloMyotismon.

When the DigiDestined began getting organized, Tai Kamiya named Catherine the leader of the DigiDestined in France, despite her youth.  His choice proved fortuitous when Catherine was able to channel the power of the Crest of Love in order to make her Partner, Kiwimon, digivolve to Blossomon, an Ultimate-level Digimon.

Catherine’s Partner Digimon is Floramon.  Floramon’s other forms include Yuramon (Baby), Tanemon (In-Training), Kiwimon (Champion), Blossomon (Ultimate), and Gryphonmon (Mega).  She is the bearer of the Crest of Love.

Rosa Lopez Edit

A DigiDestined from Mexico City, Rosa is descended from the Ancient Mayans.  She assisted the Japanese DigiDestined during their quest to destroy the Control Spires that appeared around Earth in 2002, and later participated in the final battle against MaloMyotismon.

When the DigiDestined began getting organized, Rosa was able to channel the power of the Crest of Friendship in order to make her Partner, Monochromon, digivolve to Triceramon, an Ultimate-level Digimon.

Rosa’s Partner Digimon is Gatsumon.  Gotsumon’s other forms include Zurumon (Baby), Pagumon (In-Training), Monochromon (Champion), Triceramon (Ultimate), and Cannondramon (Mega).  She is the bearer of the Crest of Friendship.

Gennai Edit

A mentor to the DigiDestined

Colonel Shinji Matsumura, JGSDF Edit

A member of the Japanese Special Forces Group, Colonel Shinji Matsumura was the military representative of the government task force assigned to the Digital World.  While there, he befriended and became partnered to Commandramon, a military Digimon, and was able to help him Digivolve to the Champion, Ultimate, and Mega levels.

Unfortunately, his time in the Digiworld made Col. Matsumura paranoid and fearful, and he began plotting the complete and total destruction of the DigiWorld and its inhabitants in order to safeguard Earth and the human race.  To achieve his goals, the Colonel recruited a bunch of likeminded people from around the world to assist him.  Together, they created a program that would enable them to control a Digimon and make it obey all orders given.  After successfully using the program on Commandramon (who had been horrified to learn that his partner hated the Digital World and wanted to destroy it), Col. Matsumura went out and got himself more Partner Digimon, including Tsukaimon, Vi-Elecmon, Goblimon, Mushroomon, Salamon, and Keramon.

One of Col. Matsumura’s first acts was to assassinate Leomon, a close friend and ally of the DigiDestined.  He also attacked the Koromon Village, hoping to eliminate a group of powerful Digimon; however, that attack was repelled by Tai Kamiya, the leader of the DigiDestined, Noriko Kawada, and their Digimon, along with the Koromon from the village.

Upon realizing the threat Col. Matsumura posed, the DigiDestined began to organize a defense force in the Digital World consisting of both Partner and non-Partner Digimon, while working with people on Earth to come to a nonviolent resolution to Col. Matsumura’s war.

Digimon Edit

Agumon Edit

The Partner Digimon of Tai Kamiya, Agumon is much like his partner.  They are both kind and compassionate, and tend to act rather brashly and hot-headedly when their friends are in danger.  Of the two, Agumon is typically more cautious and less prone to getting into sticky situations, although he follows and protects his partner all the way.  The pair joke around with each other a lot and go through many trials together, but their trust in each other is evident.  Agumon also shares Tai’s main trait of being incredibly courageous.

After the battles against MaloMyotismon and Armageddemon, Agumon was able to once again digivolve to the Ultimate and Mega levels at will.  In order to build up his strength, he spent over a month in his Champion, Ultimate, and Mega levels without de-digivolving; he also spent some time as Koromon in both the Digital and Real Worlds for the same reason.

While training as Greymon, he encountered a virus-type Greymon, who had evolved from a BlackAgumon.  When the two Greymons proved to be pretty evenly matched, Greymon digivolved to MetalGreymon – and the light of the Crest of Courage enabled the other Greymon to become the virus MetalGreymon.  However, after one attack which MetalGreymon endured, the virus MetalGreymon expended his energy and de-digivolved back into Koromon, ending the fight.

During his training, Agumon spent some time with MasterTyrannomon and his group of dinosaur Digimon.

Agumon led the defense of the Koromon Village from Col. Matsumura’s forces.  He fought Col. Matsumura’s Commandramon as Agumon, and as Commandramon digivolved into Sealsdramon, Tankdramon, and ultimately Darkdramon, Agumon worked his way up the levels until he was WarGreymon.

After years of training and working with Tai, Agumon is one of the most powerful Digimon in the DigiWorld.  Each of his forms can hold his own against a Digimon of the next level – a skill Agumon has learned over the years in order to protect Tai, his friends, and both worlds.

Agumon’s main attack is Pepper Breath.  His other forms include Botamon (Baby), Koromon (In-Training), Greymon (Champion), MetalGreymon (Ultimate), and WarGreymon (Mega).  WarGreymon can also DNA Digivolve with MetalGarurumon to form Omnimon, one of the most powerful Digimon in the Digital World.  Also, on a number of occasions, Greymon has dark-digivolved into his alternate Ultimate-level form, SkullGreymon, a Digimon so powerful it could stand up to and destroy a Mega-level Digimon.

Gabumon Edit

The Partner Digimon of Matt Ishida

After the battles against MaloMyotismon and Armageddemon, Gabumon was able to once again digivolve to the Ultimate and Mega levels at will.  Like Agumon, Gabumon spent over a month in his Champion, Ultimate, and Mega levels without de-digivolving in order to build up his strength; he also spent some time as Tsunomon in both the Digital and Real Worlds for the same reason.

After years of training and working with Matt, Gabumon is one of the most powerful Digimon in the DigiWorld.  Each of his forms can hold his own against a Digimon of the next level – a skill Gabumon has learned over the years in order to protect Matt, his friends, and both worlds.

Gabumon’s main attack is Blue Blaster.  His other forms include Punimon (Baby), Tsunomon (In-Training), Garurumon (Champion), WereGarurumon (Ultimate), and MetalGarurumon (Mega).  MetalGarurumon can also DNA Digivolve with WarGreymon to form Omnimon, one of the most powerful Digimon in the Digital World.

Biyomon Edit

MasterTyrannomon’s main attack is Hyper Heat Blast, and also uses its Master Claw attack to crush his enemies.

Geremon Edit

The violent and repulsive cousin of Numemon, Geremon attacked Mimi Tachikawa and Michael Barton on their date in the Digital World.  Geremon had enough power to hold his own against both Togemon and Seadramon, but was defeated when Michael channeled the Crest of Reliability in order to enable Seadramon to digivolve to MegaSeadramon, an Ultimate-level Digimon.

BlackAgumon Edit

Originally from the Koromon Village, he was able to digivolve to BlackAgumon while under the influence of the Digimon Emperor’s Dark Ring.  When the Emperor was defeated, BlackAgumon left the Koromon Village and began traveling the Digital World.  Along the way, he learned how to digivolve into the virus version of Greymon.

As Greymon, he encountered Tai Kamiya, leader of the DigiDestined and his Greymon.  When the two Greymons proved to be pretty evenly matched, Tai’s Greymon digivolved to MetalGreymon – and the light of the Crest of Courage enabled Greymon to become the virus MetalGreymon.  However, after one attack, MetalGreymon expended his energy and de-digivolved back into Koromon, ending the fight.  After replenishing his strength, Koromon returned to his Rookie level.

With the power to become MetalGreymon (albeit for a very short amount of time), BlackAgumon has continued his travels through the Digital World and trains in hopes of one day being able to digivolve to his Mega form, BlackWarGreymon.  He returned to the Koromon Village when it was attacked by Col. Commandramon Edit

The main Partner Digimon of Col. Shinji Matsumura of the Japanese Special Forces Group, Commandramon first met the Colonel during his trip to the Digital World.  With his help, Commandramon was able to digivolve to the Champion level.

When Col. Matsumura began his campaign against the DigiWorld, Commandramon was horrified to learn that his partner hated the Digital World and wanted to destroy it.  However, before he could do anything, one of the Colonel’s programmers corrupted Commandramon in order to turn him into the perfect soldier and obey all orders given to him.

While under Col. Matsumura’s control, Commandramon digivolved into Sealsdramon and assassinated Leomon.  He then led the attack on the Koromon Village.  As the Colonel’s other Digimon fought the various Koromon, Commandramon battled Tai Kamiya’s Agumon.  During the fight, Commandramon was able to digivolve to his Champion, Ultimate, and even Mega levels.  However, he was too inexperienced with the ways of digivolving and was no match for WarGreymon, leading Col. Matsumura to recall Commandramon and break off the attack on the village.
